I remember watching the first few season of ‘Friends’ when I was like 4 and thinking “they’re so much older than me.” now I watch ‘Friends’ and think “Oh my god they’re just a few years older than me” and some day I’ll be watching ‘Friends’ thinking “Wow, they’re so young.”
Growing up sucks.
So when I was 16 I went to see “Across the Universe” with my high school boyfriend. When we were leaving the theater we were talking about how we enjoyed it and I said “I wonder if my father will go see it, he’s a really big Beatles fan” to which my then boyfriend replied with “What’s the Beatles have to do with anything?!”
